Presentación de la PRIMAVERA ____________________________ April is National Poetry Month! The students have been using their knowledge of Spanish to express themselves by creating original odes. What is an ode? It is a type of poem that praises a particular person or thing. Today, BCWLA students will discuss their favorite things through poetry!

Oda al Fútbol Correr sobre el campo verde me hace sentir mucha diversión, como correr una carrera y llegar en primer lugar. ¡Yeah! Fútbol es el mejor deporte como lo es comer la mejor pizza. ¡Yum! Ode to Soccer Running on the green field is a lot of fun for me, like running a race and getting first place. Yeah! Soccer is the best sport, just like eating the best pizza. Oda al Canguro Mi canguro ama brincar… ¡e incluso lamer una paleta! El salta, salta todo el día. Y ama brincar más que jugar. Amo a mi gracioso canguro. Y usa a veces una bufanda. And he loves to jump more than play. I love my funny kangaroo, and sometimes he wears a scarf.
