She organized the students into groups to practice and deepen their knowledge and monitored for evidence of the extent to which the group work extends the majority of students’ learning. The teacher was seen circulating throughout the room, observing the students as they worked. She engaged in conversation with some of the groups. This teacher may have been Innovating, but there was not evidence of this seen on the video. Luckily, your evaluator will be able to see everything that happens in your classroom as well as interview students.
