Responsibilities Territory Insurance Office (TIO) • Determine liability • Claims Management • Ensure Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act (WRACA) Compliance Injured Worker • Complies with workers compensation and employment legislation • Participates within workers compensation processes i. e. return to work program (RTWP) DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS AND EMPLOYMENT Workplace Injury Solutions (WIS) • Provides facilitation role • Represents employing Agency • Liaises between Agency and TIO to coordinate compensation processes • Ensure compliance with legal and policy requirements Employer/Agency • Provides suitable duties • Manages worker under Public Sector Employment and Management Act (PSEMA) • Comply with workers compensation legislation
