Course Outline Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) Purpose & Outcome One / Two Day(s) This course is aimed at providing the participants an in-depth information on the standard OHSAS 18001: 1999 and its relevance to any organisation in terms of the safety requirements to be adhered. While various processes are carried out in any organisation , the need for a safe working atmosphere resulting in productivity improvement and reduction in loss hours due to unsafe work practices will be highlighted. The compliances to various legislations relating to safety in workplace will become an indirect benefit to the organisation. Course Outline OHSAS Lead Auditor Training Course Five Days Purpose & Outcome To train practicing executives of an organization from production, maintenance, engineering, purchase, design functions on the Occupational health and safety management system specifications OHSAS 18001: 1999, HSG 65 Successful health & safety management ND BS 8800 GUIDE TO Occupational health &safety management systems. At the end of this intensive training, participants would be able to understand the detailed requirements specified by the standard, the method to audit the identified hazards and the potential risks that are being countered by a Risk management technique. Course Outline Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Internal Auditor Course Based on OHSAS 18001: 1999 Two Days Purpose & Outcome The purpose of this course is to prepare the participants for undertaking Internal Audits of the established OH&S Management Systems to OHSAS 18001 Standard. It is expected that the participants who attend this course would already have sufficient knowledge of Standard. The participants would be able to : • • • understand the application of OH&S Management Systems, understand the importance of internal auditing within OH&S, understand the responsibilities of OH&S internal auditors, collect and analyse evidence, exercising objectivity, evaluate and report the results of an internal audit, plan, organise and conduct an internal audit to check the implementation efficiency of OH&S.
