The business area includes advisory and service staff, channels and product units under a common strategy, operating model and governance across markets. Personal Banking is headed by Topi Manner and includes the following units: – Customer channels – Personal Banking Denmark, Personal Banking Finland, Personal Banking Norway, Personal Banking Sweden and Digital Banking; – Products; – Digital Banking – Segments & Strategy; and – COO Personal Banking Baltics reports to Topi Manner and includes all banking business, personal and corporate, in the Baltic region Commercial & Business Banking (CBB) serves Nordea’s corporate customers and includes transaction banking. CBB is headed by Erik Ekman, and includes the following units: – Commercial Banking and Business Banking; – Transaction Banking; – COO Commercial & Business Banking Wholesale Banking (WB) provides financial solutions to Nordea’s large Nordic and International institutional customers. The offering includes a diverse range of financing, cash management and payment services, investment banking, capital markets products and securities services. Customers are served through various channels including a pan-Nordic Private Banking platform. The business area manages customers’ assets and gives financial advice to affluent and high net worth individuals as well as institutional investors. Asset & Wealth Management is headed by Snorre Storset, and includes the following units: – Wealth Management – Asset Managemet – A&WM People – PB Lux • Group Corporate Centre/Group COO (GCC) provides strategic frameworks, common infrastructure and processes for the Group. GCC supports Nordea Group within capital models, balance sheet management and investor relations. Through the COO organisation GCC is also responsible for fully implementing one operating model by harmonising processes and services and supporting simplification, IT and compliance activities across the Group. GCC is headed by Torsten H. • Group Risk Management and Control/ Group CRO (GRMC) is Nordea’s independent risk control function and acts as the second line of defence risk control function. Areas of responsibility include e. g. internal control and risk management framework, risk appetite and limit systems, risk analysis, risk reporting and risk control. GRMC is headed by Julie Galbo (Group CRO) and includes the following units: – Group Market and Counterparty Credit Risk – Group Operational Risk; – Group Credit Risk Control: – Risk Models – CRO Functions; – Group Risk COO, – Balance Sheet Risk Control • Group Compliance (GC) is responsible for compliance risk management. GC protects Nordea’s license to operate, reputation and trust and supports the Group to be compliant with laws and regulation. GC is headed by Matthew Elderfield and includes the following units: – Compliance units supporting each Business Areas and the Group Functions; – Conduct Risk – Financial Crime – Chief Operating Officer – Monitoring – Regulatory Affairs • Group People(GP) is responsible for group-wide strategic partnering, support and service in all HR matters. GP is headed by Karen Tobiasen and incudes the following units: – Reward – Talent – Sustainable Employment – People Online – Talent Acquisition – Organisational design – Learning – Culture – People Business Partners BA/GF 4

• Group Internal Audit (GIA) is an independent unit, commissioned by the Nordea Board. GIA is responsible for performing the operational audit within the Nordea Group. GIA is headed by the Group Chief Audit Executive Jamie Graham and includes the following units: – Audit units for each of the Business Areas and Group Functions; – GIA Operations, and; – GIA Quality Assurance • Chief of Staff Office (Co. SO) is a function consisting of units being subject matter experts in areas of common interest for the Group. All units are delivering advice, and services across the entire Group. Co. SO provides services related to communication, brand, marketing sustainability legal matters, M&A and internal governance. Also the Group Credit risk Management is residing in the Co. SO. The Co. SO is headed by Johan Ekwall and includes the following units: – Group Executive Office – Group Marketing, Brand & insight – Group Communication – Group Sustainability Finance – Group Legal – Mergers & Acquisitions and – Group Credit Risk Management 5
