June: the month devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus We listen In the month of June we remember the Churches’ celebration of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Sacred Heart represents Christ's love for all of us as his brothers and sisters. We are encouraged to be loving and compassionate to others just as Jesus is towards us. Our special intention this week focusses upon the example provided for us by our patron Saint Thomas More. We remember his selfless love of God, his courage and dedication to his faith, his love of his family and his joy in supporting education for all. In the gospel reading on Sunday we were encouraged to consider the power and presence of the Holy Trinity in the life of the church, our school and ourselves as part of this special community. Mission Monday? Are we ready to follow the call of Jesus? Are we ready to be caring and compassionate towards others? Are we ready to be inspirational and encouraging of others as the Holy Spirit is of us? Are we ready to be creative and a force for positive change just as God the Father is for us?

We Reflect Together: Monday During this school week we pray for all our intentions. We pray that we will be happy at our work and that we may work together to foster a joyful and caring community. Yesterday was Trinity Sunday. In the gospel Jesus told us that he has much to share with us and that this will be revealed to us through the Holy Spirit. In the week where we celebrate our Patron Saint, Saint Thomas More, we pray that in our lives, in our thoughts, in everything we do, we open our hearts and our minds to the Spirit so that the message of Christ be the light that guides us in our every action……. . Lord hear us …. Lord graciously hear us Let us offer the Hail Mary from our prayer cards We finish our prayer by saying ‘St Thomas More…. . ’
