PRESENTATIO N HEIGHT, BODY BUILD, AGE When describing people, we use the verb to be to describe height, body build and age.

PRESENTATION FACIAL FEATURES We use the verb to have to describe hair, colour, lair length and facial features. .

PRESENTATIO N CLOTHES, SHOES, GLASSES We use the verb to wear to talk about clothes someone has on. We also use it to talk about shoes, glasses, hats, etc.

PRESENTATION INTENSIFIERS

PRACTICE 1 DESCRIBING CLASSMATES - Four groups: A, B, C and D - Group A choses a secret student. - Group A describes that secret student. - Groups B, C and D try to guess who is the secret student. - 5 points for a good guess, -1 point for a bad guess. - And so on. . .

PRACTICE 2 DESCRIBE AND NAME THE PERSONS - Team A against team B - Team C against team D - A/C describe a person, using the names in A/C sheet - Do not say “he” or “she” - B/D have to guess and write it in B/D sheet
