Fundraisers I would hold various fundraisers throughout the year. A few examples would be: Art Gallery Sale: I would collect various art pieces from the students throughout the year and twice a year I will hold an art gallery where friends and family can enjoy looking at the students art and at the end of the night hold the items up for bid in an auction. ◦ I think this would be a fundraiser for the students to be proud of their artwork and show their family and friends. I would also hold a silent auction during the year auctioning off various items of donation from the community. ◦ I think this would be a great way to involve the community, and share the excitement and knowledge of Early Childhood Education in the community.

Advocation It is very important to advocate for early childhood

Advocation It is very important to advocate for early childhood education As an educator I will advocate for early childhood Education, and attend legislative meetings to voice my opinion I feel that advocating and participating in these events will only advance my experience, knowledge and passion for the career After testifying and gaining knowledge I will apply this knowledge and experience with my community In many small communities like Bowman the community has little knowledge on the importance of Early Childhood Education, and I feel as thought it will be my duty to inform the community I would like to hold a community meeting to show my passion and knowledge At this meeting, I would show my interest in starting a preschool program and explaining the positives and well as the needs for funding (possibility of donations) I could also hand out surveys to the community to get further knowledge such as how many families would use the program, and a number of families/kids in the community, concerns, and questions that they may have
