Activity • The class is ask to bring picture of their selves and the who they idolize and a bond paper. • Paste the pictures on the bond paper on the right side – picture of their selves, left side– picture of their idol • List down the characterics , attidudes, behavior, talents of the person in the picture, how they are similar, different below the picture.

Carl Rogers • • Humanistic Psychology Father Client-Centered Therapy Known for Theories of Personality Development Dr. Carl R. Rogers was born in Oak Park, Illinois, in 1902. He received his B. A. from the University of Wisconsin in 1924, a M. A. from Columbia University in 1928, and his Ph. D. in psychotherapy from Columbia University in 1931. In 1940 Rogers became professor of psychology at Ohio State University where he stayed until 1945. He then transferred to the University of Chicago in 1945 where he served as the professor of psychology and the executive secretary at the Counseling Center. In 1957 he took a jpoint position in the departments of psychology and psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin. After this Rogers traveled to a variety of colleges.
