Goals Goal 1: Understand my local community (Athens and/or UGA) more comprehensively and its strengths and weaknesses. Learn more about local people, locals in need, local culture, events, and/or history. Goal 2: Increase my level of involvement with organizations or causes related to sustainability and volunteerism; I would like to help more people.

Complete a case study; a large portion of this research comes from direct observation of a local organization Progress Indicators for Goal 1 I have visited venues of cultural significance within the community and spent time with local people and groups (i. e. community events, local markets, campus events, cultural events, historical sites) I have participated on campus or in the county in events related to helping people, animals, or the environment (among others) of the local community

Progress Indicators for Goal 2 I have become more active in a community (or personal) initiative that helps people and contributes to a more sustainable future community. I have provided something of value—including my time and help—to someone else and have benefited others. I have produced work related to U. N. sustainable development goals and/or to helping people locally.
