Course Description Couse addresses strategies that contribute to a productive and harmonious learning environment. Provides teachers with a better understanding of the campus procedures for escalating disruptive behavior provides and understanding of the 3 step discipline management process
Audience Learners New teachers with 1 -3 years teaching experience. Teachers new to the campus and/or the middle school environment
Goals and objectives Focuses on collaboration and critical thinking Teachers in groups constructing understanding, solutions, and products Critical thinking is practiced thought analyzing scenarios and identifying problems and solutions
Goals and objectives GOALS Educators will increase their ability to effectively manage conflict in the classroom setting Educators will learn to minimize conflict in the classroom by adopting processes that reinforces positive behavior Educators will understand apply the escalation procedure for disciplinary issues
