IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF SANREM’S TRAINING PROGRAM ON PARTICIPATORY LANDSCAPE-LIFESCAPE APPRAISAL (PLLA) FOR COMMUNITY BASED RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF LANTAPAN AND VALENCIA, BUKIDNON Carmelita M. Rebancos, V. O. Espaldon, and A. A. Custodio
Objectives: • To describe the training inputs: trainee characteristics, and trainee assessment of human resource capabilities and the training course design; • To determine the relationship of training inputs to training outputs • To determine the application of knowledge gained and capabilities acquired during the training; and • To analyze the impact of the training on the trainees’ organization.
Impact Assessment of NRM Training Programs Stage 1 – Inception Meeting. A conceptual framework for the evaluation was developed in an inception meeting among project team members. Upon coming up with the working framework for the evaluation, a Participatory Impact Assessment Seminar Workshop was scheduled to orient trainers and trainees of the upcoming evaluation.

Impact Assessment of NRM Training Programs Stage 2 – Seminar Workshop on Participatory Training Impact Assessment. During the seminar workshop, the trainers and trainees themselves identified the input-outputeffect-and-impact variables that will be the basis for the assessment. The trainers or the NRM Team of BIDANI-CMU were faculty members from CMU academic units, while the trainees were barangay representatives.

Impact Assessment of NRM Training Programs Stage 5 –Field Survey. For the field survey, the enumerators were divided into sub-groups to facilitate the administration of the questionnaires over the twelve- (12) barangays: Study Areas Philippines Alanib, Sungco, Kulasihan, Basac, Victory and Baclayon in Lantapan and Colonia, Lilingayon, Lurugan, Lourdes, Mt. Nebo and Guinoyoran in Valencia
