LC-PCC Policy Statements and Workflow Documents in the Beta RDA Toolkit • Beta Toolkit will be launched as the new RDA Toolkit on December 15, 2020 • With the new Toolkit, 3 kinds of documents may be needed to assist catalogers in using the new Toolkit LC-PCC Application Profiles will not be in the RDA Toolkit. LC-PCC Policy Statements. LC will start loading existing policy statements into the Beta RDA Toolkit in January 2020. Final recommendations will be reviewed and decisions made by the end of May 2020. LC-PCC Workflow Documents Location of workflow documents not yet decided. Evaluation Period: After all 3 are written and loaded, a small LC-PCC cataloging team will evaluate the text and recommend revisions for consideration Post implementation: Establish normal procedures for submitting proposals to create or modify application profiles, policy statements, and workflow documents http: //www. loc. gov/aba/pcc/rda/Beta. Beta RDA Task Groups • LC-PCC Task Group on Aggregates in the RDA Beta Toolkit; Co-Chairs: Paul Frank and Nancy Lorimer • LC-PCC Task Group on Data Provenance in Beta RDA Toolkit; Co-Chairs: Stephen Hearn and Manon Théroux • LC-PCC Task Group on Diachronic Works in Beta RDA Toolkit; Co-Chairs: Les Hawkins and Robert Rendall • LC-PCC Task Group on Element Labels in Beta RDA Toolkit; Co-Chair: Melanie Polutta and Ryan Finnerty • Beta RDA Task Groups can submit their finished reports with recommendations at any time, but they must be submitted no later than May 1, 2020. • Po. Co decisions on recommendations in the Beta RDA Task Group report must be made and communicated to LC by May 29, 2020.

PCC Standing Committee on Training • Sinopia Training Task Group: The group has so far released a training outline and has completed drafting the first modules of its training. These documents have been shared with the LD 4 P community for feedback. They plan to produce videos demonstrating how to accomplish different tasks • Minimal Punctuation Training Task Group • LRM Training Task Group: Very recently, the PCC Chair announced that the 12 modules have been completed and are under review. A final version is anticipated before ALA Midwinter

PCC Standing Committee on Training • ISNI Training Task Group: The training covers the ISNI web; the modules were released to the PCC ISNI cohort in April 2019 • Series policies and training documentation: New guidelines will soon be generated due to the implementation of LRM rules. Module 6 A is under review. Additionally, to collect preliminary user feedback, Series Authority Training is being given to a cohort of Texas A&M catalogers for review • URI Training task group and RWO training: will provide targeted training based on the best practices identified by pilot members for providing subfield $0/subfield $1 identifiers in both bibliographic and authority records. The training will consist of short videos, checklists of available resources, and other materials as identified by pilot participants

PCC Standing Committee on Training • Linked Data Training: The draft charge for this new group was put on hold while the focus is on Sinopia training • NACO review: The outdated NACO manual has been targeted by SCT as needing updating. SCT member John Hostage will do a quick review of the NACO manual, DCMZ 1, and the NACO RDA bridge training, and propose next steps. Following this review, SCT will then determine actions, including the possibility of charging a future group to do the work

SCT RDA 3 R Training Task Group • Charge: Develop a training curriculum for PCC participants to catalog monographs using the revised RDA Toolkit, LC-PCC Application Profile, LC-PCC Policy Statements, and LC-PCC Workflow Documents • Prepare modular training that focuses on cataloging, using the revised RDA Toolkit and LC-PCC PS, with examples in MARC 21. Modules may focus on general or specific concepts • Prepare bridge training that is a condensed version of the full training that focuses specifically on changes in cataloging practices in the revised RDA • Chair: Adam Baron. Committee membership is not yet finalized

ISNI Library-Sector Steering Group • Libraries play a key role in ISNI. They constitute half of the ISNI membership (members and RAGs) and are key data providers for assigning new ISNIs and keeping them updated • They also play a decisive role within the ISNI Quality Team • Many of them are developing new services using ISNIs • The Steering Group is in charge of drafting the consultation group terms of reference and action plan • Consultation group for libraries represents the sector of libraries within ISNI • Draft for term of references
