PIMS conditioning - outlook • this week: opening of bunker => visits, installation of adaptable short circuit, • until Nov. 26 th: re-conditioning – raise of Ppeak to 0. 8 … 1 MW in cavity • preparation for high avg. power test (cooling, transport to SM 18, installation) • copper plating of waveguide-cavity connection • temperature & cooling tests • tests in SM 18 should be finished end December / mid January 12 -Nov-2010 High power tests of PIMS cavity Rolf Wegner 12
