Why is the DRCOG 2050 MVRTP Important to Denver? Identifies projects to be evaluated for future federal funds, and other funding sources • As the years of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) move forward, projects can be pulled from the MVRTP Identifies projects that are regional priorities • Supports needed partnerships with other agencies Confirms changes to the transportation network • Evaluation related to air quality, movement, and congestion

Screening & Evaluation Results Screening – Regional System Input – 174 projects Result = 131 projects • 83 projects on regional system • 38 major bikeway/pedestrian projects • 10 RR grade separations Evaluation -High Priority from Denver Plan Input – 131 individual projects Result = 31 Combined Projcts • Duplicates • Combined multiple projects into a ‘corridor projects’ – example – Colorado includes high capacity transit and vision zero improvements. • Removed 2 projects – scope is not of regional significance • 2 projects – they are CDOT coordination efforts • Identified 9 projects as non-prioritized/need further input.
