Your preference determines your type of personality. It also determines the way you act and how far you are willing to leave your comfort zone. According to Oxford Dictionary a predisposition is “a liability or tendency to suffer from a particular condition, hold a particular attitude, or act in a particular way. ” What is grey matter? According to Wikipedia “grey matter contains most of the brain's neuronal cell bodies. The grey matter includes regions of the brain involved in muscle control, and sensory perception such as seeing and hearing, memory, emotions, speech, decision making and self-control. ”

According to the US National Library of Medicine, children with learning disabilities (ADHD) have smaller brain volume and less grey matter. Thus making it more difficult for their brain to function correctly for certain tasks. Also, according to Mail Online “Science and Tech” people are actually born to be “thrill-seekers” or “action junkies”. US researchers examined 1, 200 people's brains and asked questions. Daredevils had reduced grey matter in regions linked with decision making. They also had less matter in the regions responsible for self-control. These differences may also predispose thrill seekers to substance abuse.
