WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THREE NEW HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

MR HENRY DEPTFORD A STALWART SUPPORTER OF THE AQHA UK AND THE AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE IN THE UK FROM THE 1960’S. MR DAVID TEIDEMAN DAVID WAS CHAIR FOR 7 YEARS AND ALSO INTERNATIONAL & EUROPEAN DIRECTOR. HE BUILT A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR AMERICAN AND EUROPEAN COLLEAGUES ALIKE. AND OUR FIRST EQUINE INDUCTEE TAWNYS DUNIT OWNED AND EXHIBITED BY GILL PARKER

Henry Deptford Quietly in the background this modest man has been promoting western riding and American Quarter Horses for decades. With David he set up one of the most well known and well-respected Quarter Horse studs in the UK and as a founder (and life) member of AQHA UK (or BQHA) as it was known then. It is his foresight and enthusiasm for the American Quarter Horse that has helped put the breed firmly on the map in the UK. It is a privilege indeed for me to present this award to Henry on behalf of AQHA. UK. Congratulations Henry!

David has become synonymous with the AQHA UK; he is still an active member and always willing to give help and support to members and Council. Over the many years he has helped the Association grow from strength to strength and has been truly dedicated in every way. DAVID TEIDEMAN He is well known throughout the membership and still attends shows and events to meet friends and colleagues and give his time and encouragement. He says “ My proudest moment was when I convinced BAQHA Chairman Bill Archer and Richard Burns, Chair of AQHA UK, to join the two organisations together to enable us to be stronger. This was achieved and in 2001 I joined Council. In 2003 I became Vice Chair and in 2006 I was elected as Chairman of AQHA UK. It was another very proud moment. I was Chair for 7 years and also International & European Director Jackie and David Teideman
