What are the IDDSI food and drink textures? From April 2019 all SALTS will be required to meet IDDSI framework. Awareness and adoption phase from April 2018

Testing Method for Liquid levels 0 - 3 • The IDDSI flow test is required • The testing methods require 2 x 61. 5 mm syringes which hold 10 ml and a precise timer in seconds and the IDDSI flow chart
Checklist for flow and levels • Level 0 Thin All 10 m. L flows through within 10 secs • Level 1 Slightly thick 1 -4 m. L remains after 10 secs flow ∗ • Level 2 Mildly thick 4 -8 m.
