EXPECTATIONS ATTENDANCE “The world is run by people who turn up. ” By law, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure Regular attendance your child attends school. • • Punctuality Your children only attend school for 190 days out of 365. There are 175 days in each year when they do not have to attend. Attending 4 days a week = 80% attendance. This equates to missing 2 whole years of school. www. phoenixinfants. uk Being 15 minutes late each day is the same as missing two weeks of school over the year. Lateness is just as serious as non-attendance.
