Animal adventure rules Animal Adventure allows children the chance to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, smells and experiences of life in the animal kingdom. There are the next zones to explore: Tree Top Zone, Roots Zone and Splash Zone. Please adhere to the following RULES: • Do not distress the animals by shouting, leaping about, tapping on the glass • Do not feed the animals • Do not climb over barriers • CHILDREN must be supervised at all times N. B. ZSL reserves the right to evict any visitor that breaks these rules.

Splash Zone lets children play and learn how water gives life and the importance of conserving the environment. This area allows kids to become active in the mini stream, take a seat in the secret garden or be enchanted by some story telling.

Animal adventure for pupils In Lifecycles pupils will explore how a variety of different animals, grow, develop and produce offspring. Activities include using costumes and role play to create and act out a butterfly lifecycle, as well as touching real animal skins and artefacts.

Hands on Pupils will explore animal groups by investigating real animal hair from lions

Hands on Pupils will explore animal groups by investigating real animal hair from lions to crocodiles! They will find out how we can use these different body coverings to put animals into three groups. At the conclusion of the session, pupils will be challenged to put a variety of zoo animals into groups, including themselves!
