UNVEILING THE MYSTERY OF SUPERNATURAL HARVEST PART 2

Texts: Amos 9: 13 -15 Mark 4: 1 -20

Introduction § There is a season to everything and a time to every purpose under the heaven (Eccl. 3: 1). § November, in God’s prophetic agenda for us as a body of Christ, is the “SEASON of SUPERNATURAL HARVEST. ”

In other words, all heavenly GRACE and ASSISTANCE are being deployed and made available for our benefits as children of God living under the glory cloud of His divine presence.

Harvest defined: Originated from a Latin word which means ‘to pluck’ or ‘to gather’.

Merriam-Webster dictionary: 1 The season for gathering-in (especially of crops). 2 The act or process of gathering-in. 3 The yield or the matured (full grown) crop.

Harvest defined: 4 The quantity of a product gathered in a single season. 5 An accumulated store or productive result.

Harvest: 1 Harvest is Ordained by God - Genesis 8: 22. 2 Harvest season is a time of overflow, abundance of joy and renewal of strength – Joshua 3: 15. 3 Harvest is a Time of Separation – Malachi 3: 16 -18.

Objective: Five (5) hindrances to ‘Supernatural Harvest’

1. Ignorance or Lack of Understanding § § God does nothing apart from His WORD. Mark 4: 4, 15; Matthew 13: 19 Hosea 4: 6; Genesis 8: 22 Satan’s strategy is to keep the WORD away from you anyway he can. § No seed, no harvest!

2. Offence (Affliction & Persecution) § Your behavior can stop your harvest from manifesting. § Mark 4: 5 -6, 16 -17 Ampl. § Luke 8: 6; James 1: 13 -14. § God did not cause that stressful situation. He did not put you in that painful circumstance. § Offence comes because of affliction or persecution!

3. Thorny Ground: The Cares of this World § Mark 4: 7, 18 -19. § Luke 8: 14. § Care: distraction (Grk – Merimna); § Anything or any person that takes a significant portion of your time, focus and energy can be a distraction. § Colossians 3: 1 -2.

4. Thorny Ground: The Deceitfulness of Riches § Mark 4: 19; 1 Timothy 6: 6 -12, 17. Matt. 6: 33. § Deceitfulness (Grk – Apate): the delusion of riches – wealth, possessions, materials and abundance. § God is not opposed to having riches. He is opposed to them holding the wrong place in your life. § Don’t ever allow money to determine your obedience to God.

5. Thorny Ground: The Lust of other things § Mark 4: 19; Luke 8: 14 § James 1: 13 -15. § Lust: a longing, especially for what is forbidden or desired. § It is desire for something other than what God has promised for you. § Galatians 5: 16.

Conclusion § God is not a man that He should lie or deceive. He is committed to fulfilling His Promises over us as His own people. § Understanding the strategies of the enemy prevents him from stopping our supernatural harvest this month and beyond.

Today, by the power of the Blood of Jesus and in the authority of His Name, every bad seed that you have planted in your life or home shall be rooted out according to Matthew 15: 13.
