Section 8: Conclusion Using the Six Models of Team Teaching • The greatest successes occur when instructors intentionally incorporate a combination of models into their lessons. • A successful team uses a combination of the models, based on: • personalities, philosophies, or strengths of the team teachers • the personalities and strengths of the learners • the subject being taught • Teams should periodically refer back to the six models to ensure that all models are being considered in planning.
