And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. ” (1 John 3: 17 -19) – “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. ” (Galatians 5: 6)

When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, ‘What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!’ For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness. Jesus asked him, saying, ‘What is your name? ’ And he said, ‘Legion, ’ because many demons had entered him. And they begged Him that He would not command them to go out into the abyss. ” (Luke 8: 27 -31)

Staying Faithful in Challenging Times The Challenge of a Living Faith (James 2: 14 -26) › Do You Have Faith That Works? (20 -26) – “But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, ‘ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS ACCOUNTED TO HIM FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS. ’ And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. ” (James 2: 20 -26) – Hear, Receive, and Do!
