We can order different events in a story with them, different things that have happened to us in a diary extract, or how to do something in instructions! 1. A bossy verb is when you’re telling someone what to do (like you would do in instructions! 1. Circle the imperative verbs. get mix little open happy enjoy dog 2. Extra challenge: use ‘and’ and get two bossy verbs in your sentences. e. g. : Add the sugar and mix all the ingredients together.
