Dear the littlest billy goat, How are you my baby? I am missing you

Dear the littlest billy goat, How are you my baby? I am missing you very much! Are you having lots of fun with your brothers? I hope you’re listening to them and that they’re not picking on you. What happened when you were on the bridge? I spoke to some of the neighbours and they said they heard something was living under the bridge. I wandered if you had seen anything when you crossed. What have you been up to since arriving at the new valley? You’ll have to tell me what it looks like, what you’ve been up to there and if you like it. I’ll come visit you soon. Don’t eat too much grass and make yourself sick. Write back soon! From, Mummy Goat

SPa. G Miss Smith and Miss Maxey’s Group Day 2 LO: to answer questions

SPa. G Miss Smith and Miss Maxey’s Group Day 2 LO: to answer questions on a character description. This week we are writing a letter in role as the littlest billy goat. You have received a letter from Mummy billy goat asking how you and your brothers are. YOUR TASK: read the letter from the billy goat’s mum and start to plan your response (not full sentences, just notes or bullet points). Imagine it was your grown up writing you a letter asking how you are. What would you say to them? How would you feel? Would you be missing them? How are you? Are you having lots of fun with your brothers? What happened on the bridge? What have you been up to? This will be the longest part of your letter! Tell your mum what happened on the bridge. What happened first, next, then, last etc. How did you feel throughout it? How did you fix the problem? Would you go on that bridge again? How did you feel at the end. You have to pretend you’re the littlest goat. Have your brothers been kind to you or not? Have they been picking on you? Have they been kind and helped you with something? Time for some more pretending! Pretend you’re the billy goat in his new valley. Have you been eating grass? Found somewhere to live? Made new friends? Excited to see Mum or do you want to stay in your new valley?

SPa. G Miss Smith and Miss Maxey’s Group Day 4 LO: to write in

SPa. G Miss Smith and Miss Maxey’s Group Day 4 LO: to write in the correct tense. When we write, we can write in the past tense or the present tense. When we write letters, it can sometimes be a mixture of both. We are writing it now in the present but if we are recounting something that has already happened, we would write it in the past tense. https: //www. bbc. co. uk/bitesize/topics/zrqqtfr/articles/z 3 dbg 82 YOUR TASK: Make your way through the jobs below. 1. Underline the words in the passage that show it is in the past tense (think about the suffixes). 2. Underline the words that show it is in the present tense (think about the suffixes). 3.
