Imagine going to work each day in a solution-focused school, knowing that the following occurrences were routine: • Staff meetings focus on preferred outcomes, and all members of the staff strategize together on the steps to accomplish them. The staff does so by recognizing what would work for their unique campus from past exceptions.

The role of the SF School Counselor: Keep the solution focused mindset at all times with all issues and all students, teachers and parents: See complaints as interruptions and focus on times when the interruptions occur less.
