RTH SOFIA • RTH - Sofia’s zone of responsibility as appointed to the regional meteorological telecommunication plan are: Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro and Syrian Arab Republic. • RTH - Sofia successfully migrated to the Regional Meteorological Data Communication Network (RMDCN) in Region VI (in March 2000). • RTH – Sofia use TCP/IP as the data transport protocol, with FTP, to all connections.

ABOUT ADMINISTRATIVE COMMUNICATIONS The exchange of administrative messages to/from NMC Skopje is very difficult to its focal point. OTHERS A need of training – new telecommunication/IT technologies.
