Psalm 29: 1 -4 (NKJV) Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, Give unto the Lord glory and strength. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. 3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters. 4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

Psalm 29: 10 -11 (NKJV) 10 The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, And the Lord sits as King forever. 11 The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.

2 Corinthians 9: 8 -11 (MSG) God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done. As one psalmist puts it, He throws caution to the winds, giving to the needy in reckless abandon. His right-living, right-giving ways never run out, never wear out.

2 Corinthians 9: 8 -11 (MSG) This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into fullformed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.

敬畏神 The Fear Of God

詩篇Psalms 5: 7 至於我，我必憑你豐盛的慈愛進入 你的居所；我必存敬畏你的心向你 的聖殿下拜。 But I, by your great love, can come into your house; in reverence I bow down toward your holy temple.

你憑什麼敬拜神？ By what do you worship God？ 敬拜是神的慈愛，人的敬畏 Worship is God’s abundant love and the fear of God.

詩篇Psalms 33: 5 -21 He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD. By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deeps in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. The LORD nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the peoples. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance. The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men; From His dwelling place He looks out On all the inhabitants of the earth, He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who understands all their works. The king is not saved by a mighty army; A warrior is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a false hope for victory; Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness, To deliver their soul from death And to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we trust in His holy name.

為什麽要敬畏神？ Why the fear of God？ 1. 祂是我們的創造者 He is the Creator- 諸天藉耶和華的命而造；萬象藉他口中的氣 而成。 他聚集海水如壘，收藏深洋在庫房。 願全地都敬畏耶和華！願世上的居民都懼怕 他！ By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host. 2. 祂是浩瀚無窮 He is great and infinite遍地/全地、諸天、萬象、深洋 The earth, heavens, all the host, the deep, etc.

3. 祂統管萬有He reigns all – 他說有，就有，命立，就立。耶和華使 列國的籌算歸於無有，使眾民的思念無 有功效。耶和華的籌算永遠立定；他心 中的思念萬代常存。 For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. The LORD nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the peoples. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation.

4. 祂審判世界 He judges the world- 從他的居所往外察看地上一切的居 民。他是那造成他們眾人心的，留 意他們一切作為的。 From His dwelling place He looks out On all the inhabitants of the earth, He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who understands all their works.

什麽是敬畏神？如何敬畏神？ What is the fear of God？ How do we fear God？

詩篇Psalms 34: 7 -18 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them. O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the LORD, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Who is the man who desires life And loves length of days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit.

詩篇Psalms 34: 7 -18 Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry. The face of the LORD is against evildoers, To cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the LORD hears And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.

敬畏神就是 The fear of God is: 1. 管住自己的舌頭 Hold your tongue- “就要禁止舌頭不出惡言， 嘴唇不說詭詐的話。” Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit.

2. 離惡行善 Depart from evil and do good – “要離惡行善…一心追趕。 ” “Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. ”

箴言Proverbs 3: 7 不要自以為有智慧；要敬畏耶和華， 遠離惡事。 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. 箴言Proverbs 8: 13 敬畏耶和華在乎恨惡邪惡；那驕傲、狂妄， 並惡道，以及乖謬的口，都為我所恨惡。 To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

3. 尋求和睦 Seek peace – “ …尋求和睦，一心追趕。 ” “Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. ”

4. 為罪痛悔 Have a contrite spirit - “耶和華靠近傷心的人， 拯救靈性痛悔的人。” The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit (And saves such as have a contrite spirit. ).
