Personal Power Time - 2 ¬ Best done in the morning – don’t wait till end of day. – You have built up stress all day and will simply want to escape in the evening. – Get rid of stress before you start. – Build up the power of who you are before you begin. – Bring the best of you to the table. – Don’t expect to simply recover at the end of the day (recipe for depletion).

Movement ¬Done in the morning ¬No thought, just put on shoes and MOVE ¬Walking,

Gratitude ¬ Take the first 5 -15 minutes of your Power Time to be

Gratitude ¬ Take the first 5 -15 minutes of your Power Time to be grateful ¬ Name anything and everything you can think of ¬ Lock in all that’s going great in your life ¬ Think of all that you are grateful for, all that you love ¬ Look for Magic Moments each day – remember them and recap frequently

Breathing ¬Breathing – MOST important! ¬Helps immune function, lymph movement ¬Pattern should be 1

Breathing ¬Breathing – MOST important! ¬Helps immune function, lymph movement ¬Pattern should be 1 – 4 – 2 – do TEN of these breaths For example: breathe in for 5 seconds, hold for 20 seconds, breathe out for 10 seconds Or: breathe in for 10 seconds, hold for 40 seconds, breathe out for 20 seconds

Good Deed ¬Do at least one good deed daily ¬This can be as simple as letting a person merge on the freeway, or letting someone go in front of you at the grocery store, or holding the door open for someone, or speaking kind words to a person who desperately needs them but may not deserve them.
