Background • Initial citizens request for a community splash pad (January 2019) • Council directed staff to work with the citizens group (February 2019) • Splash Pad Study submitted by citizens to staff (April 2019) • Council authorized $250, 000 in the budget for the splash pad (July 2019) • National Purchasing Partner (NPP) application process began (August 2019) • Vortex recommendation for professional civil design of site (October 2019) • Requests for quotes on civil design (November 2019 - received December 2019) • Findings reveal challenges to the site initially selected; site #1 (January 2020)
