THE CHURCH OF ST. NICHOLAS -the construction was finished in 1515. -the biggest church in Prešov. -parameters are: long: 54, 7 m width: 34, 45 m height: 16 m

THE CHURCH OF ST. CROSS -baroque church -built in 1753 -František Perger -paintings by Ondrej Trtina

TOWN HALL -is situated in the eastern part of the square -it was rebuilt to a city winery -1961

ORTHODOX SYNAGOGUE -built in 1898 -paintings by Andrej Grazl. -1991

THE NATURAL CULTURAL SITE OF SOLIVAR -from 17 th century -salt mining (first done by means of evaporation from brine) -part of Solivar: Gápeľ, the Leopold mine-shaft, the Klopačka, Salt storage, the Četerne, smelting works, blacksmith´s workshops, . . . -actual mining of salt began in 1572 -National Cultural Site since 1970

CATHEDRAL CHURCH OF ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST -built in 17 th century -gothic church reconstructed in the Baroque style -facade in Baroque style from 18 th century -An iconostasis in interior from the half of the 19 th century

THE CARAFFA´S PRISON -built in 1504 -1509 -Late-Gothic building -then – an armoury and store for the safe-keeping of weights and measures -now – gallery

THE FLORIAN´S GATE -built in 15. century -remains of Prešov´s fortification -St. Florian´s Chapel above the passage of the gate -in the next building was a public hospital in 19 th century

THE EVANGELICAL CHURCH OF ST. TROJICA -unique renaissance church -one of a few Protestant churches in Slovakia -first half of the 17 th century -building took five years

BOSAK´S BANK -bank established Michal Bosák -on 31 st August 1920 -the building was built in Art Nouveau style by architect William Glasza

RÁKÓCZI´S PALACE -the end of the 16 th century -for the most beautiful Renaissance palace in the former Upper Uhorsko -At present the Regional Museum is placed in the building

FOUNTAIN OF NEPTUNE the only preserved original city tank -the early 19 th century by Mark Holländer -The author of the statue of Neptune is a stonemason and sculptor Vincent Staviarska who completed the sculpture in 1826 -Statue of Neptune was restored in early 90 th of the 20 th century
