Computing resources in 2020 « Grid » resources (correspond to Tier 2 pledged ressources) - storage = 1050 TB (+100 TB wrt 2019) - computing = 10500 HS 06 (i. e ~1050 cpu) (+10000 HS 06 wrt 2019) Other « grid » resources (correspond to non pledged ressources) - storage = 500 TB in LOCALGROUPDISK (+200 TB wrt 2019) - computing ~ 12000 HS 06 through fairshare of GRIF-LPNHE site Other local (lab, university) resources (whatever is non grid) - storage : ~100 TB attached to local server (ceph, sps-like) - computing : 1 group server with 32 cores, no batch system - cloud : ~30 TB + ~500 cores, not yet used - high performance computing (not used in practice) - at LPNHE : 1 server with 2 GPU K 2200, 1 server with 2 Xeon. Near future Activities of the team →evolution: stable in the 2 coming years Resources and needs → Limited amount of computing ressource locally → cloud site : ready but need to learn how to use it ⇒ development rely on 1 IE who is at 50% at LPNHE, already working for GRIF-LPNHE, only limited user-support → resources of university : for HPC + GPU, but need Singularity to compile basic codes (ROOT), no improvement foreseen → needs for storage at CC-IN 2 P 3 (as reported to CAF in September) : mostly for Hbb/Top analysis, on sps : 50 TB in 2020 (+10 TB wrt 2019) 50 TB on LGD in 2020 (+10 TB wrt 2019) ATLAS France CAF-PAF meeting, 28 th November 2019
