What is MAP? • Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) Tests – Computer adaptive tests

What is MAP? • Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) Tests – Computer adaptive tests – Given to you three times a year (Fall, Winter, Spring) – Winter Assessment will be given to you as followed: • Reading Test – Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in ELA classes • Math Test – Thursday, January 21, 2016 in Math classes • Language Test – Friday, January 22, 2016 in Science classes Respect Responsibility Safe

Now that you know your scores … Are you ready for High School, College and Career? • I am ready for High School if my scores for – Math is at least 230 RIT – Reading is at least 230 RIT – Language is at least 230 RIT • If you am not at the score of 230 RIT on either one of these areas, you will have the opportunity to improve those scores via the Winter Scores. • You can also enroll yourself in the Saturday Academy for both – Math Academy and – Reading & Writing Academy • More information about the Academy, visit the Counseling Office and talk to your Counselor.
