Personalize Your Summer 2015 • Lathrop Intermediate School proudly presents different Summer Programs here on the Spartans campus this summer. • There are two programs for students from 6 th – 8 th grades Summer School 2015 – Summer Bridge – Engage 360 Bridge 7 th Grade AVID Science Be Respectful 8 th Grade AVID Math Be Responsible Engage 360 6 th Grade Transition Program 6 th – 8 th Grades ELA and Math Be Safe

Summer Bridge AVID Program • Incoming 7 th & 8 th Grade AVID students – Grade 7 will take Science – Grade 8 will take Mathematics • When: – July 6, 2015 – July 29, 2015, – Monday through Thursday from 8: 30 – 12: 45 • Where: – Lathrop Intermediate School • Application Process: – A letter is being mailed home for registration – First comes first serves basis for the first 25 students in each grade level (7 th & 8 th) – Application is to be turned in to Ms. Rangel, Main Office – Deadline: Monday, June 1, 2015. Summer Bridge Transition Program • Incoming 6 th Grade Students – Introduction to Middle School – Opportunity to build a strong foundation for literacy and mathematics • Informational texts & Mathematical Practices focus via the use of technology • When: – July 6, 2015 – July 29, 2015, – Monday through Thursday from 8: 30 – 12: 45 • Where: – Lathrop Intermediate School • Application Process: – – A letter will be mailed home during the week of May 26, 2015 First comes first serves basis for the first 100 students All application is due to Ms. Rangel in the Main Office Deadline: Monday, June 1, 2015 Be Respectful Be Responsible Be Safe
