KWIC index l l l Key word in context (H P Luhn) Format and structure Each entry – three parts: Keywords, context and identification or location code Keywords: Significant words of the title which serves as approach/ access terms Context: Rest of the terms of the title along with the key words specifies the context of the document Identification or location code: A code which provides address of the document where its full bibliographic description will be available
