V. Strategies and Activities A. Management and Institutional Arrangements 2. OK sa Dep. Ed Technical Working Group (TWG) shall be created at the Regional, Division, and School Levels, to be in charge of planning, coordination with partners, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The creation of the TWGs shall not be viewed as adding tasks for the members identified, but as a strategy to synergize the efforts already being done and roles currently being played by the members with regard to the implementation of school health and nutrition program C. Reporting and Recording 2. The Dep. Ed health cards shall be properly accomplished/signed by health practitioners in the conduct of medical and dental examination and treatment. The health cards shall be stored at the school clinic for safekeeping by the designated clinic teacher. 5. The schools shall prepare the OK sa Dep. Ed Accomplishment Report (Form B) for submission to the SDO by the fir st week of March which will be consolidated by the SDO and subsequently be submitted to RO by the first week of April.

The nutritional assessment of elementary and secondary students shall start in June-July and end in February-March of every school year. The school nurses and teachers are fully responsible in the conduct of such assessments while the school heads are responsible in providing the tools for height and weight-taking.

Pursuant to Section 18 of Republic Act (RA) No. 8491, known as the Flag ANTHEM” and Heraldic Code of the Philippines, all government offices and educational institutions are required to participate in the observance / conduct of Flag Raising Ceremonies every Monday morning and Flag Lowering Ceremonies every Friday afternoon. 2. While there is no law categorically stating the order of a public ceremony, specifically, whether the singing of the Philippine National Anthem should come before or after the invocation, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) Protocol on the Observance of Commemorative Events provides that the singing of the Philippine National Anthem should come before the invocation in official government functions. However, this may be distinguished from programs or gatherings that are religious in nature or are sponsored by or conducted in private schools or in “faith-based” institutions.

Those in the assembly shall observe the same deportment or shall observe the same behaviour as for the flag-raising ceremony.
