Instruction Set of 8085 An instruction is a command given to computer to perform specified operation on given data 11/3/2020 Lecturer: Mrs Charulata Ingle 1
Classification of instructions o Data transfer group o Arithmetic group o Logical group o Branch control group o I/O and machine control group 11/3/2020 Lecturer: Mrs Charulata Ingle 2
Data Transfer Group Ø Instruction which are used to transfer the data from one register to another register, from memory to register or from register to memory. Ø When an instruction of data transfer is executed , data is transferred from source to destination without altering the contents of source. Ø Examples: MOV, MVI, LXI, LDA, STA 11/3/2020 Lecturer: Mrs Charulata Ingle 3
