What Have I Learned About Myself As A Gifted Student? Some things that I have learned this year about myself as a gifted student would be that I’ve learned what grade level of math I should be learning. This simple thing has boosted my confidence a LOT. I’ve also learned that I am not the best at fractions and now I am working harder to get myself there. Another thing that I have learned would be that I enjoy economics. I really enjoyed the debates , learning how to understand money, and being more carful about spending it.

How Has My Outlook Towards School Changed? My outlook towards school has changed dramatically because school used to bore me so much that I would fool around and I would get in trouble much more often. Now, my work keeps me busy so I don’t even have time to think about doing something that I’m not suppose to. Also, I used to not want to even go to school. But now, because the teachers have come up with more creative ways to teach us.

What Is Something I Am Proud Of Accomplishing This Year? I am very proud of being part of the Lion’s Club, and working on organizing fundraisers, announcements, and helping teachers with their students. I am also very proud to have helped make the model of the school. Another thing that I’m proud of is learning to play the cello.

What Is Something New I Have Experienced? There a lot of new things that I have experienced this year. Like at school, we’ve played a lot of new games in PE that I’ve never even heard of, such as the pacer test, crab soccer, and wall dodge ball. Also in this new school, the classes are run like a middle school. It’s really cool because we get to have small intervals of walking time to stretch our legs and a little bit of talking time.

What Is The Best Memory I Have From This Year? I think that my favorite memory from this year would be the time when the entire class put on mustaches. Another really good time was when we were on the news for pi day. It wasn’t really the being on television part, but we just had a lot of fun hanging out and taking part in all of the festivities.

My Academic Goal My academic goal for next year would have to be to work more on my fractions. I guess that I’m okay at them, but I could use some practice. If I would like to have better grades, then I know that I must work on them more. I’m also a perfectionist. If I don’t get better, I know that I won’t be satisfied with myself.
