Current Classroom Layout
Current Rules, Routines and Reminders • Arrive punctually (not too early) for drop offs and collection and leave quickly. • Water bottles to be taken home, washed and refilled daily. • Hand sanitizers – small bottles please. • Small pencil cases to be left in school. (Discuss content) • No nuts in lunch boxes. • Toileting in school. • PE kits to be brought in and left in school.
Pupil Well Being • First priority is settling the children in and getting them used to socialising and being in a school environment.

Reading • Key priority in school. • System for reading in Year 4.
BUG CLUB
Home Learning and How to Help • • No homework books currently. As much reading as possible. Spellings to be practiced at home. Make use of online tools: • Bug Club / TT Rockstars / Top Marks Hit the Button • Google Classroom (with interaction and feedback) to be used if future lockdowns.
Assessment and Catch Up Plan • Conducting informal tests over the first few weeks to inform next steps. • Use of additional staff and TAs to plug gaps. • Flexibility on timetable to ensure children have time to catch up. • Children will still experience the full curriculum.
