Harkness Discussion: Pre-Reading Questions PRE-READING ACTIVITY Summary with Keywords PURPOSE Ensure comprehension of article Questions Critically analyze text from the Text Support argument with evidence Beyond the Text Connect text with students’ life & the world SAMPLE Write a 2 sentence summary using KEYWORDS from the reading and demonstrating the relationship between those keywords.
