PLAY AT LEAST ONE SPORT THE AVERAGE GRADE POINT AVERAGE OF A LAKE PARK ATHLETE IS 4. 25 ON A 5. 0 SCALE OVER 40% OF OUR VARSITY LETTER WINNERS ACHIEVE ACADEMIC ALL- CONFERENCE. IN 2012 -13 19 OF OUR VARSITY ATHLETIC TEAMS WERE RECOGNIZED BY THE ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (IHSA) AS ACADEMIC ALL-STATE TEAMS. LAKE PARK HAS SOME OF THE FINEST ATHLETIC FACILITIES IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS AND HOST NUMEROUS IHSA STATE SERIES EVENTS. LAKE PARK OFFERS 27 ATHLETIC PROGRAMS WITH 91 DIFFERENT LEVELS FOR STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE.
