SSP members must attend all General Meetings 2. 1 st and 2 nd year SSP members must complete 20 community service hours total per semester (10 of which must be SSP hours) 3. 3 rd and 4 th year SSP members must complete at least 5 community service hours total per year 4. Maintain 3. 0 GPA or higher 5. 1 st and 2 nd year SSP members are encouraged to attend one national conference per year Ie. DO Day, OMED, Specialty conferences etc.

Chapter Goals - Increase the number of Touro sponsored altruistic events that serve the Harlem community - Provide academic and professional guidance by improving communication between preclinical 1 st and 2 nd year members and 3 rd and 4 th year members who are currently on their clinical rotations - Foster research and its applications as a basis for protecting and improving global health - Increase the academic and research standards of SSP members and applicants to strengthen SSP’s reputation as an honors organization
