Who watches the money? • The Foundation Board includes a Finance Committee that consults

Who watches the money? • The Foundation Board includes a Finance Committee that consults a Financial Advisor • The Altrusa International Foundation is audited by an independent firm on an annual basis • The Finance Committee: • Oversees income, expenses, and investments • Prepares budgets and approves grant funds • Investments are determined with guidance from Roger Beaman, Financial Advisor, of Wells Fargo Advisors.

In 2017 -2018, the Altrusa International Foundation, Inc. Funded $22, 000 in Club 21

In 2017 -2018, the Altrusa International Foundation, Inc. Funded $22, 000 in Club 21 Program grants to children’s camps, and international healthcare initiatives Awarded $12, 400 in ASTRA Scholarships and Altrusa Club service awards Distributed $24, 000 in aid from the Disaster Relief Fund to (10) separate organizations supporting residents affected by natural disasters across Districts Nine, Eleven, and Fourteen Celebrated the centennial year by distributing $100, 000 from the Grants Program to Altrusa Clubs. All districts, and Clubs-at-Large, were represented. Distributed a grand total of $158, 247 back to your communities

Settle Community Leadership Award • $500. 00 per year qualifies an individual or Altrusa Club as a Foundation Lamplighter • • Planned Giving is an organized method for providing charitable gifts to an organization through estate planning • • Altrusans who contribute to the Planned Giving program are invited to the Donor Round Table at the Reno International Convention • Club 21 children’s camps provide a safe and FUN place for KIDS to be KIDS! Supports children and their families affected by disease and disability, and educational healthcare programs in West Africa $21. 00 per year qualifies an individual as a Club 21 member; $210. 00 qualifies an Altrusa Club as a Club 21 member
