Luke 11: 42 But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass by justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.

Proverbs 21: 3 To do righteousness and justice Is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

Micah 6: 6 -7 With what shall I come before the LORD, And bow myself before the High God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With calves a year old? 7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, Ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? Sacrifice alone is not enough!

Matthew 5: 7 Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. We can not expect to enjoy the mercy of God if we ourselves are not merciful to others

Psalm 41: 1 Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

Colossians 3: 12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering.

James 4: 6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble. ” Proverbs 3: 34; 15: 25

1 Peter 5: 5 Likewise younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble. ”
