Visual Arts Department n Art for Seniors (. 5 credits, grade 12 only, no prerequisite) is a Visual Arts class designed specifically for seniors, who would like to explore and create art using various media. n Studio Art I and II (1. 0 credits each, grades 11, 12) are full year, honors level classes, designed for juniors and/or seniors, who are serious about their art work and interested in developing their art portfolio. n Art History (1. 0 credits, grades 10 -12) is an Advanced Placement class. Students will not be producing their own art work. They will learn to examine and analyze works of art and respond in a meaningful way, both verbally and in writing. College credit may be obtained by passing the national AP Exam administered in May.
