What is “A”-Tribe ? “A” Tribe is a data driven meeting that specifically encourages family engagement, reviews student data, and connects teachers and parents to help students grow academically.

What is MAP? MAP Information

RIT Score and Percentile Ranks RIT Score shows your child’s instructional level and will measure the growth your child makes over time. 0 -20%: Low Percentile shows how well your child performed compared nationally to other students in the same grade. 61%-80%: High Average 21%-40%: Low Average 41%-60%: Average 81% and up: High

Reading Scores Look inside your child’s “case file” to view your child’s MAP Growth Reading scores. These scores show what your child already knows and the progress they need to make in order to reach grade level goals. 4 th Grade Reading Spring Winter Fall Avg Score Range Avg Score Range 197 180 -213 202. 5 186 -219 205 189 -221

Math Scores Look inside your child’s “case file” to view your child’s MAP Growth Math scores. Reading and Math Activities at Home Inside your case file you will find dice and Math and Reading games that you can use at home to support your child’s progress. If you lose the dice, there are plenty of virtual dice on the internet that the kids can access with their Chromebooks.

Parent-School Compacts At the beginning of the year you received the CSE Parent-School Compact. This compact outlines how the parents, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement as well as describes how school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help children achieve the State’s high standards We Cannot Do This Without You!

Parent Feedback Your opinion is IMPORTANT to us! Inside your child’s case file folder is a feedback form, please take a few minutes to share with us feedback from tonight’s meeting. If you would prefer to complete it digitally, I will be sending out a link after we are finished. Every child that returns a feedback form (paper or digitally) will receive a special treat!
