Save the date! • Exciting news, you will be attending you transition day to Maiden Erlegh School in Reading on the 3 rd September 2020! • This presentation will give you a short guide of what how prepare before the day and what to expect on the day itself • Year 7 will be the only year group in school on this date to give them a chance to get used to their new surroundings • Further details will be sent via email in regards to the finer details of the day

Timings/Student drop off • Please arrive at school at 8: 25 am ready to

Timings/Student drop off • Please arrive at school at 8: 25 am ready to start your day at 8: 40 am • Parents please drop students outside the front of the school • The day will finish at 2: 55 pm. You will either be picked up or make your own way home • Parents to be directed to collect students at the end of the day

A fantastic and exciting opportunity to lead a wonderful year group in their first year at secondary school. • What is Mr Bandy planning for the start of year 7? Lots of fun activities to get to know your tutor and other students. Also setting you up with everything you need to know to make a great start at secondary school

• What happens when you get a certain amount of house points? House points are awarded for positive contributions to the school DREAM (Determination, Respect, Excellence, Attitude and Maturity). House points can lead to further rewards during celebrations at school. • How do you deal with bullies? We have a wide range of activities including sports (rugby, football, netball, cricket, basketball, athletics and many more), drama, art, computing and many, many more. • How often will we change the sport for P. E? In your PE lessons you will complete two sports each half term and then will rotate onto a new sport.
