Introduction v v Poverty measurement at the international level: provide rough comparisons between poverty rates in different countries, given comparison methodologies (PPP, relative poverty – i. e. 60% median income, etc) International databases’ advantages: Constant updates • Quick access to data for multiple countries • Keep track of MDGs/SDGs • Ability to learn from peers • v Main databases relevant for ECE countries: UN, WB, Eurostat, OECD, UNDP, ILO and OPHI • Other organizations (i. e.
