WHY Many teachers have areas of weakness that they want to improve and which they would not readily admit to a senior management figure Much INSET is generic and misses the target for individuals We all benefit from reflection and a critical 2 nd eye. HOW We all reflect and discuss our target for improvement. We try to match skills to needs where possible Groups of 3 chosen to be a mix of disciplines and experience Arrange observation by pairs followed by feedback. Ideally this might be fortnightly. The TRIAD should meet informally at a suitable time to discuss progress with each other The TRIAD team (all of us) should meet up every 4 -5 weeks to share and disseminate findings. RECORDS It is a good idea for each member to keep a journal of progress to support their own CPD. I will be keeping a journal as part of my own leadership development. This is be available to my MPQML overseers and all information will be anonymised. My journal will be blogged and you all will be invited and encouraged to comment. WHEN Starting in September, I would like to begin as quickly as possible in the new term. That way we can have at least 3 whole meetings by the time I am assessed.
