十字架 The Cross 基督徒的十字架 Cross of Christians

经文 Scriptures 于是，耶稣对门徒说：若有人要跟从, 就当舍己，背起他的十字架，来跟从我。 (太 16: 24；可 8: 34；路 9: 23) Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. Matt 16: 24; Mark 8: 34; Luke 9: 23

一、苦难 1. Suffering 我所喝的杯，你们也要喝；我所受的洗，你们也要受。 (可 10: 39) The cup that I drink you shall drink; and you shall be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized. Mark 10: 39 因为你们蒙恩，不但得以信服基督，并要为他受苦。 (腓 1: 29) For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake Philippians 1: 29

Suffering 不但如此，凡立志在基督耶稣里敬虔度日的， 也都要受逼迫。 (提后3: 12) Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 2 Timothy 3: 12 使我认识基督，晓得他复活的大能，并且晓得和他 一同受苦，效法他的死。 (腓 3: 10) That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death. Philippians 3: 10

Suffering 基督照我们父神的旨意为我们的罪舍己，要救我们脱 离这罪世代。 (加 1: 4 / Galatians 1: 4) Who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father. 现在我为你们受苦，倒觉欢乐，并且为基督的身体， 就是为教会，要在我肉身上补满基督患难的缺欠。 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions. (西 1: 24 / Colossians 1: 24)

一、苦难 1. Suffering • “患难” qli/yij, 指生活上的困难，启示录 7: 14中的“ 大患难”即用的此字，是基督徒为基督所忍受的患 难。 • “Tribulations” qli/yij refers to hardships in life. The “great tribulation” in Revelation 7: 14 is the same word, referring to the tribulation Christians suffer for Christ’s sake. • 圣经从未将这词用在主耶稣十字架上的受苦上。 • The Bible has never use this term to describe the suffering of Jesus on the cross.

一、苦难 1. Suffering • “缺欠” u(sterh/mata，复数名词， • “Lacking” u(sterh/mata, a plural noun, refers to --指物质方面的不足 (腓 4: 1 -12) --Lacking in material need Philippians 4: 1 -12 --服侍的不足 (腓 2: 30) --Lacking in service Philippians 2: 30 --信心的不足 (帖前3: 10) --Lacking in service 1 Thessalonians 3: 10

一、苦难 1. Suffering • 这词多指教会生活、灵性、服侍等方面的 不足，不是指十架救恩的缺欠。 • This term often refers to a lacking in church life, in spiritual life and in service. It does not mean there is any lacking in the salvation on the cross.

Suffering • 这样“补满基督的患难的缺欠” • Therefore, “filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions” refers to --是指基督在世为救赎我们受过苦。 --The suffering Christ suffered on earth in order to redeem us. --我们今日为传福音、建立教会、为做基督徒仍要 忍受的苦难。 -- Our suffering today for the sake of spreading the gospel, building up the church, and as Christians.

Death 若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，背起他的十字架, 来跟从我。 If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 太 16: 24; 可 8: 34; 路 9: 23 / Matthew 16: 24, Mark 8: 34, Luke 9: 23 我已经与基督同钉十字架，现在活着的不再是我，乃是 基督在我里面活着；并且我如今在肉身活着，是因信 神的儿子而活，他是爱我，为我舍己。 (加 2: 20) • I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2: 20

二、死亡 2. Death 凡属基督耶稣的人，是已经把肉体连肉体的邪情私欲同 钉在十架上了。 (加 5: 24) Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Galatians 5: 24 就我而论，世界已经钉在十字架上；就世界而论，我已 经钉在十字架上。 (加 6: 14) The world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Galatians 6: 14

Death 揭开第五印的时候，我看见在祭坛底下，有为神的 道、并为作见证被杀之人的灵魂。 (启 6: 9) When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained. Revelation 6: 9 那杀身体不能杀灵魂的，不要怕他们；惟有能把身 体和灵魂都灭在地狱里的，正要怕他。 (太 10: 28) Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10: 28

三、得荣 3. Glorification 如果我们和他一同受苦，也必和他一同得荣耀。罗 8: 17 If indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. Romans 8: 17 我想，现在的苦楚若比起将来要显于我们的荣耀， 就不足介意了。 罗 8: 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Romans 8: 18 我们这至暂至轻的苦楚，要为我们成就极重无比永远 的荣耀。 林后4: 17 / 2 Corinthians 4: 17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.
